“PESHAWAR TOUR”

23 October we have started our journey, first, we had chosen the Bus. We want to choose the train first but it was late. That is why we chose the bus. We were known well to Faisal movers that is why choose it. We have to reach Islamabad first but due to the stay of the bus on different 5 stops. We were late too much. Normally we can reach 16 to 17 hours but we reached in 21 hours. We reached in morning time it was not wintering season but the weather was cold. Basically, we have to go to Peshawar but we stay in Islamabad to fresh up own self.

We stay in a local hotel and have taken the best breakfast than we became ready for the next destination and have gone toward Faisal movers and our journey has started towards Faisal Movers. Our journey to Peshawar was one of the most exciting journeys of my life. We stopped at a snack stall in the mid of our journey and enjoyed the refreshing tea.

By the time we reached Peshawar, our relatives were already there to welcome us. We stayed at their house for a while to get some rest. We decided to go FATA altogether. FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas) semi-autonomous tribal region in northwest Pakistan that existed from 1947 until being merged with neighbouring province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2018.

We visited Bajor which is one of the regions in FATA. It is a beautiful place to visit, covered in mountains. The residents there were so generous that they readily offered us a place to stay when they got to know we were visitors there. It was Friday and after offering our prayers we had a delicious dish called ‘Rosh’ at lunch.

‘Rosh’ is their common but very famous cuisine which is basically a roasted lamb. It has no spices and is cooked in its own fat. We had the same dish for the rest of the two days we spent there. Another known dish is called ‘Zarda’ which is a traditional sweet rice dish. One of its key ingredients is saffron. We loved every bite of it. All the people were so hospitable that everyone invited us to eat at their place.

We spent some time roaming in the local markets as well. The craftsmen were experts in making different kinds of weapons. You show them a design of any weapon and they are ready to get it done the way you want it. The craftsmen surely have the potential to be recognized and get benefits from. If the authorities pay attention and provide some resources, they can definitely help boost the economy.

We spent three days in Bajaur before heading to see the Torkham border. Torkham is a major border crossing between the Pakistani city of Torkham and Afghanistan, located along the international border between the two countries. It connects the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan with Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

We returned back to Peshawar after spending days full of learning, happiness, and recreation. We were back home after spending a day or two in Peshawar to take some rest. I must conclude that traveling is something one must take time out for. It changes you as a person. You return back to your home eventually but with a lot more wisdom.

Around 3 months before who so ever enter there his or her head was beheaded so that no one could enter inside and we were so afraid. Some of the group members who went there some time ago, the army was there, so we had security, we had to cover the entire area with the people to see the local mark of Khyber Agency, from pin to cannonball everything was available there. There are no restrictions for anyone, one can take whatever he wants with the help of the army. From there we move to Peshawar after reaching there at night we had a party, there was one more district, we enjoyed the party than from there we came back and went to Peshawar market which was huge enough there were so many items.

We got amazed after seeing that Peshawar market is also like Karachi’s local market. We took the pan from there and was taking in Urdu the shopkeeper asked where you are from we told him that we are from Sindh after listening to this he didn't even take money from us and said you are our guest this made us smile. Chitrali markets and different types of markets were very interesting. Then we go ahead and took shawls for our mother. We gave him money for 1 hour of hard work, he also refused to take the money and said you are our guest, but somehow we gave him money. Almost every person we met there was with have such a positive attitude & around 90% of people there were like this, after going from there we took keyway and even that person refused to make money.

We went to namka market from there we ate karahi and went back to Peshawar. We rest there and the next day we move to Islamabad, a random person who was a local travel agent along with a car asked us if we have 1 day so he will make a tour of Islamabad. We postponed our plan and sit with him. He took around 5 thousand for the trip and told us that he will take us to Kashmir and back to Islamabad. It was around 9' O clock of the morning we leave Islamabad and went to different places like Murree, patriate, Muzaffarabad, Kashmir, Neelam valley, and came back to Islamabad. It was one day experience which was much better.

We went to Sabli where our group members had some work. There was one police training centre this place was also amazing we took photos made videos. We stayed at sabli for one day we had some work there. We went to the station for coming back to Karachi, there we stayed at our relative's home and move to our home back.
